What do we mean when we say real-time SQL?

| May 14, 2024

We often get asked what we mean when we say real-time SQL. We make a strong claim here, one that we are uniquely positioned to deliver: we allow you to run the same SQL you would write in a batch system, in streaming mode. The value add here with Feldera is huge: as long as your engineers or data scientists know SQL, they can be productive at defining pipelines that operate on both streaming and batch data sources. They don't need to learn obscure streaming dialects with poorly defined semantics or be experts in operating streaming systems to get started.

Here's a quick video where we explain what that looks like with Feldera, using a security operations demo that we often show customers.
